According to global organizations including Air Visual, the world’s air quality monitoring organization, Dhaka has become the most polluted city in the last two years. Dhaka’s air was dangerous and inclement throughout most of last January.

For so long, there has been concern about particulate matter in Dhaka’s air. Adding to the concern was the presence of heavy metals. The researchers were calling the air of Dhaka dangerous by measuring those particles which are very harmful to the human body. This time researchers have found the existence of toxic microscopic plastic particles or micro plastic in the air of Dhaka.

Those particles are entering the body with the breath of Dhaka residents. Doctors fear that cancer and respiratory diseases will not go away even with medicine. As a result, public health experts have emphasized its source control.
